LDV and HGC Charter Students Lead Pledge

The Pledge of Allegiance at the October 11, 2017 Board of Education meeting was led by students from Leonardo da Vinci Health Sciences and Howard Gardner Community charter schools: Jacob Cole, Gardner; Yessica Oliva Garcia, da Vinci; Lily Gutierrez, Gardner; Tiffany Ignacio, da Vinci; Saniya Cardoso Kibodeaux, da Vinci; Madison Moore-Bastide, Gardner.

The Board also recognized Salt Creek Elementary third grade student Abigail Sophia Domingo Estrella. “Abby” was selected by the Old Globe for the role of Cindy Lou Who in “Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” The play is scheduled for December 2017.
