School Improvement Plans & Report Cards
CUSD 95 teachers and administrators participate in Learning Retreats at the start of each school year. A variety of data from ability, achievement, and social and emotional sources is analyzed to evaluate the district/school’s individual strengths and opportunities for improvement. Each school team develops a School Improvement Plan that will guide each building's professional conversation and actions during the school year. Teams continue their work all year long through Professional Learning Communities, curriculum committee writing, professional development, and regularly scheduled building meetings, to collaborate with colleagues across the district to improve each school and help individual students succeed.
The result of this continuous improvement work is reported annually by the Illinois State Board of Education in the School Report Card.
